Reservation Information For 2008 Reservations

Please call our reservation information line at: 603-253-7811 between 9AM and 4:30PM to make your vacation plans.

Give us a call or stop in so we may personally assist you in making your New Hampshire Vacation Rental reservation. Inquires by phone will be answered from 9AM to 4:30PM seven (7) days a week. Walk-in inquiries can be made at our Center Harbor Office from 9AM to 4:30 PM seven (7) days a week, all year round.

 

VACATION RENTAL RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO
THE FOLLOWING CHARGES

  • Weekly Vacation Rental Rate (plus pet fee if applicable)
  • Administrative/Processing fee of $65.00 (non-refundable)
  • Departure Cleaning Fee **($60-$500)
  • Additional services if any for Linen/Crib/Highchair/DVD/VCR rentals.
  • NH Meals and Rentals tax adds 8% to the total charges. The applicable tax rate will apply to date of initial occupancy.
  • Security/Damage deposit (minimum of $500.00) or you have the option of purchasing a non-refundable Security Deposit Waiver for $40/Stay 0-30days or $60/Stay 31-90 days, plus tax.  (Properties with Security Deposits of over $1000 are not eligible for the Security Deposit Waiver program).
  • **Sorry island properties require self-cleaning and a $75.00 island inspection fee

     

    PAYMENT TERMS:

  • Initial Reservation Deposit of $600.00 required for "Reservation Confirmation" to be sent.
  • 50% of total rent due 30 days from confirmation date.
  • Balance due 60 days prior to occupancy date
  • CONFIRMATION OF VACATION RENTAL RESERVATION:
    Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of our Reservation Confirmation by the guest. Telephone reservations will be held five (5) days to allow an initial deposit of $600.00 to reach us by mail. We suggest the use of OVERNIGHT MAIL SERVICE to guarantee that your payment is received within the time limit. Payments not received within (5) days, will cause reservations to be cancelled without notice.  Initial deposit will be applied toward total reservation.

    MISCELLANEOUS:
    To best service your needs, please advise our rental staff of any special requirements. Guests should ask all pertinent questions and obtain satisfactory answers to personal requirements or concerns. Preferred Vacation Rentals, Inc. is not authorized to make substitutions or refunds upon arrival.

    PERSONAL PROPERTY:
    Most homes have locked closets for owner’s personal items. Please respect these, and do not attempt to force open them.

    DIPLOMATS:
    If you are part of the Diplomatic tax exemption program, please let us know at the time of your reservation.

    HANDICAP FACILITIES:
    Some cottages are fully or partially equipped for disabled persons. Please consult the Preferred Vacation Rentals Staff for more information.

    LOST/STOLEN ITEMS:
    Preferred Vacation Rentals, Inc. is not responsible for items left behind or stolen. We will make every effort to locate and return items to the guest.  Items unclaimed 30 days following departure will be considered abandoned.

    RENTAL ITEMS:
    Linens, cribs, highchairs, and video players can be ordered from our office and delivered to your property by 5:00PM on day of check-in. Rental items cannot be guaranteed without a two (2) week minimum advance notice. Rental charges are as follows and are subject to NH Meals and Rooms Tax:

    FAX SERVICE:
    We have incoming and outgoing fax service available at our office. Our fax number is 603-253-4379. Be sure the sender states your full name and the property ID# on their transmittal sheet. Faxes can be picked up during normal office hours 7 days a week. Charges are assessed per page.

    EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SERVICE:
    Emergency messages can be delivered to properties that do not have a phone. Our daytime number is 603-253-7811. Emergency evening numbers will appear on all check-in envelopes. Service fees of $20.00 may be assessed for delivery of non-emergency messages.

    UPS/FEDERAL EXPRESS:
    Pick-up boxes with supplies are located in front of our office on Route 25 (#34 Whittier Hwy).

    ERRORS & OMISSIONS:
    We have taken great effort to ensure the information in our brochure, website and all of our printed materials are accurate. We cannot be held responsible for errors, omissions, or changes in prices. The rental units are privately owned and their furnishings vary depending upon the owner's taste. Preferred Vacation Rentals, Inc. cannot guarantee the presence of particular listed furnishings because they may change from time to time depending on the owner's taste.
